Vetrart, glass factory founded in 1990 has become over time a creative team of venetian glass masters, who continue to guard one of the most famous and popular tradition in the world, working manually each piece.
The borosilicate glass, usually called also pyrex is a particular glass: very strong in spite of its lightness. It is suitable to thermal surge and resistant to the enlargement.
Borosilicate is not a simple glass thin and fragile as common glass. It results very transparent, light and strong. Also flexible and workable.
At the beginning the borosilicate was used in pharmaceutical and chemistry sectors. Today we can find pyrex pieces in kitchen, decorative home and lighting.
